Round 5 of the Customer Service Awards has once again shown just how much our community values friendly, genuine service and this time the spotlight is on a much-loved local business.
Congratulations to Ros Ladyman from donnyBOOKS and Gifts, our Round 5 winner. The nomination perfectly captured what so many locals already know. One customer shared that they love visiting the shop because Ros is always willing to help them find exactly the books they need. They also described her as kind, welcoming and someone who greets every customer with a smile no matter what.
It’s this personal service that makes donnyBOOKS and Gifts such a special place to visit. Whether someone is searching for a new read, a thoughtful gift or simply a friendly chat, Ros has created a space where customers feel genuinely welcome. Another great feature of the business is that donnyBOOKS is always open customers can order at any time through their website and still enjoy the same friendly service. We would also like to congratulate Ros and the team for continuing to engage with the community by offering visitor information and helping make Donnybrook an even more welcoming place for visitors.
This round also saw fantastic nominations for a range of other local businesses, including Mr Fosters Cafe, Skippers Plumbing, Jax & Milly Boutique Hair Studio and Barber, Donnybrook Community Resource Centre, Station Square, Belong at Home and The lil’ Chai House. Every nomination helps highlight the people and businesses going the extra mile each day.
The Customer Service Awards are run by the Donnybrook Balingup Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DBCCI), with $100 shop-local vouchers proudly sponsored by Community Bank of Donnybrook.
Round 6 nominations are now open, and it only takes a minute to recognise someone who has made your day a little better.
